The Mushara Lodge – luxury accommodation on the edge of the Etosha National Park
The Mushara Lodge is just 8 km from Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern border of Etosha National Park and is an ideal stopover for visitors to the game reserve. The lodge consists of ten spacious chalets, a family unit, a triple room and two single rooms. The name Mushara is derived from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree, which grows abundantly on the grounds of the lodge and in the surrounding area. The thatched-roof public area includes a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge with an inviting fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and a well-stocked curio shop. Particular attention was paid to the decor, which is a versatile mix of traditional African and modern works of art mixed with original older paintings.
Ten well-spaced horseshoe-shaped chalets are arranged around the pool. All chalets and single rooms are very spacious and equipped with air conditioning, mosquito net, minibar, safe, tea and coffee station, sockets for charging batteries and direct telephone connection.
Wifi is available in rooms / tents and public areas.
The bathrooms have their own bathroom with a separate toilet. The chalets and single rooms have a shower, while the triple room and the family house have a shower and bath.
One of the outstanding features of Mushara is the large light blue pool, which is surrounded by green lawns, which are perfectly cared for by visiting local wildlife.
